Omg! I have the game!

My father is picking it up from the postoffice.
I'm going to be simming all day and all night
So I might be MIA for a while...(not too long though).

I've only played it for about 5 mintues... I couldnt play any more cause it was soooo slooow... So I decided to install it on another computer and I keep getting this error (seems like a lot of people are getting it)...
So I can't really say anything about the game yet.
Oh and the Prima Hints and Tips that you wanted only had around 8 pages... HUGE disappointment. (It's not the OFFICIAL one... they shouldve told us that..)
The Collectors Editions wasn't really worth the extra money actually.

Yeah, i read about it on EA-forums, sorry to hear that :(. I hope the patch will came soon...im still waiting my copy...i hope post will bring it to me today.

I got the game ...i love it! There´s so much to do...but im still learning on stuff. The camera is tricky and taking close pictures is hard ..but i managed to take couple of pictures:

Oh, dont be silly dear ...I think those broblems sucks, bec people are having them even they have new computers . I hope you find solution to make the game work.

Heres what you do:

I had the EXACT same problem and I know how to fix it XD

Your .Net framework is out of date. You can either update it from the microsoft website OR the easy way, go to http://www.playxpert.com click "downlad now" for "the ultimate gaming toolset" when you install it it will install the .net framework plus anything else you need (it checks for what you're missing) then when you're done, you can just uninstall (or hit cancel before the program itself is installed) the playxpert thing and all your stuff will be updated.

Oh dear... It's rather boring! The people look kinda fake, and its really hard to get around. Theres too many buttins.

I honestly don't think the simmies look to fake.
Well i used to have that thought too, but if you compare a non CC using sims2 simmie with a Sims3 simmie,, then i do think the sims3 simmie looks better. o.O

The sims3 is also more playing the legacy instead of switching around all the time to other sim families or to build / decorate homes.

I do like the game so far.
I've made a simmie that is now level 7 in the music career and is pregnant of her second child. ^^

I've now installed it but the game crahses after 5 mintues of gameplay.
It seems like a lot of people has this problem.

I have heard that for some people, Sims 3 was a huge disappointment.

If your sims reaches the top of his/her music career, do they actually become famous? Like people recognize them and ask for autographs (like in some movies EA showed us..?)

I don't know yet, she's lvl 9 now of her career.. Lots of people do recognize her,, you see her face lots in other people their mind balloons. She get lot of people to listen to her when she's playing for tips or doing just a performance on the streets. Maybe that'll change once she reaches the top. I'll let you know xP

Is it just me, or is the neighbourhood confusing? I finally got it sorted out, I thought you had to save a new game per house! I hope my vid helps others too... I made a video on it you see =] On youtube, search: simming in 3 neighbourhood woes versypies

Teehee, I just spent 5 sim days making my sim play, get tips, and more play until I got her a job as a backing vocalist, not soon now til she egts the top spot!!!

I just want this game to work! I can't belive I've had it for FIVE days without playing it!!!

I hope the patch is coming soon! Today it happened to me too,game crashed while playing sims3. Actually entire windows crashed suddenly! It was kind of scary .

Yeah... it really is annoying! I haven't even moved in a family to a lot yet. I can only use CAS until it crashes 2 minutes later.

Did you try to lower graphic details and turn off smoothing edges? For me that seemed to help.
